Two Very Different Bentonville Projects
Almost everything we do in Bentonville is one of two jobs, and they run in opposite directions.
The first is new construction. The house is going up, the builder needs lighting locations and tile selections by Friday, and every decision arrives out of order. Getting a designer in early means those choices are made against one plan instead of picked off an allowance sheet under pressure.
The second is relocation. A family is transferring in, the closing date is fixed, and a large empty house needs to be liveable and photograph-ready quickly. That work is logistics as much as taste — procurement, lead times, delivery windows and one install day that has to land.
Both end up in the same place: rooms that clearly belong to the same house, and a home that looks considered rather than ordered.

Stephanie Bowen is the owner and principal designer, and she is the one who will walk your site.

Bentonville interior design questions
We are relocating to Bentonville. Can the house be furnished before we arrive?
Often yes, and it is one of the most common things we are asked for here. It depends on your closing date and furniture lead times, so the earlier you start the conversation, the more realistic it is.
At what stage of a new build should we bring you in?
Ideally before the electrical rough-in. Lighting locations, cabinetry and tile all get locked in early, and those are exactly the decisions that are expensive to undo later.
Do you work directly with our builder?
Yes. We coordinate with your builder and their trades, and provide documented selections so nothing gets interpreted on site.
Can you join a build that has already started?
Usually. We will look at what has already been ordered and installed, then focus on the decisions still genuinely open rather than pretending we can undo the rest.
How much does interior design cost in Bentonville?
Scope drives it entirely. We discuss budget in the first conversation and build the scope to fit, so you are not surprised by the number at the end.
Do you only do high-end projects?
No. What matters more than the total is that the money is spent deliberately. A focused budget spent well beats a large one spread thin.
Are you based in Bentonville?
Our studio is in Fayetteville, about half an hour south. Bentonville is a core part of our service area and we are on site regularly.
